It's no secret to the ones that know me how much I LOVE my grandma! She has been there for me since birth and has helped raise me. I love her like a second mother. She is my world and then some! We really wanted to honor her on her milestone birthday as BIG as her personality! She's loud, blunt, funny, inappropriate, loving, energetic, savvy shopper, reinvented, sassy and did I mention blunt? lol The older I get, the more I find myself quoting her, cooking her recipes, and being just as frugal as her! lol I can blog about her day so I'll keep it short. She has truly molded the person you guys know. I may look young on the outside but I'm an old school Mexican fool on the inside. I share a lot of her family fundamental principals- it's also funny how our birthdays are exactly a week apart! She really gets me and understand me. I LOVE her with all my might! My mom surprised her with Mariachi, all the family brought different dishes ( I made 50 sour cream enchiladas), My uncle made one bad 7 tier cake - one for each decade, and my guy cousins made the best agua de pina and sandia I've ever tasted! The place was decorated with lavender, her favorite scent and color. Natural flowers in every table. We even had a piñata that only the adults got to hit blindfolded! That made for some fun times :D I pray the LORD keeps her safe, healthy, and happy!
