Holidays are always fun: you're normally off from work, lots of food, and family! This year wasn't any different except we added a new baby chick to the nest- Ian Matthew :) Thankfully both days had great outside weather and we were able to celebrate with both sides of the fam. We spent a large part of the Saturday with the in laws and most of Sunday at church and with my side of the family. The Easter bunny was very nice to the kids this year and each of their buckets were full of goodies! :) I made sure to "quiz" my oldest on the true meaning of Easter and I am proud to say she passed with flying colors. She even gave me a deeper explanation than I expected. It's nice to celebrate but it's even better to know the reason we do so. I hope all my "peeps" had a great Easter weekend as well! :)
