preK breaKfast

Since Jared doesn't go in until the afternoon on Thursdays- he couldn't wait til Thursday so he could eat breakfast and drop off his baby girl. I don't know who was more excited?!?!? lol God has blessed me and my children with an amzing father figure. He always wants to do anything he can to be more involved in our children's lives. Then today, Friday- it was MY turn. I felt so proud walking in and holding my baby girl's little chubby hand. She immediately spotted pancakes and chocolate milk! That girl can seriously eat! lol While taking pictures, Bri could not stay still- she was super giddy and excited about mommy being there :) I Love Her! ....Now, it's Nyce's turn (doon doon doon)!

Helloooo Middle Schooool!!!

Ahhhh, what can I say....I think I had a harder time accepting reality then my big girl Denyce. Since she's my 1st born, she's always been more mature, responsible, organized, kind, sweet, loyal, respectful, well mannered, logical and rational thinker...I can seriously go on and on about this child. This morning was hard to come to grasps with reality. She was nervously excited like she is every year but this year felt a little different....now she was in the big leagues so there was a little more pressure. This morning we said a heart felt prayer that came right from our soul and instantly we both felt at ease. Our Lord is the calming of our storms. I cast all my fears and worries in him. I am so proud and excited to see what our Lord has in store for this young lady! ;)

Pre K! Here I come!

The day finally came...our little mama is an official pre-k student! Wow! I'm still in disbelief. But then again this is the same momma that is still holding on to 2T clothing thinking it STILL fits my 4T wearing child. I know, I know...I'm working on it :) Luckily she has been beyond excited about this day. When she arrived, she was so chilled and I being the nerdy parent; I couldn't stop grinning from  to ear- recording everything and snapping pictures! I couldn't wait to pick her up and hear all about her day! After I did pick her up Mrs. Wilson told me she did really good and is a super bright girl! Music to any momma's ears :)

Mommy's Little Firecrackers

Had a nice day celebrating America's Birthday with these little firecrackers! We had dinner at my mother in laws then headed over to see the show in the sky. Love family time! :)

Ian's 1st Haircut

Our Itty Bitty got his 1st haircut on Independence Day. Didn't really plan for it but since my real good friend Yessica stopped for a a "new baby makeover" for me .... I thought Ian could use a trim as well. I loved it- I thought it really opened up that cute face! :)

Ian's 1st Bite

Snapped this picture for Ian's baby book, it was his 1st taste of baby cereal. My little hungry hippo :)

Big Boy Bed

This is our little tough guy's 1st night on his big boy bed. Love it :)

Eli's Birthday!

We celebrated Elijah's actual birthday with his favorite dinner: meatloaf, homemade smash potatoes, and green beans. The girls and I made him his birthday cake and Daddy & I set up his "big boy" bed.  :)

Elijah's Curious George Bash!!

My summer baby turned 2 this year! And since he is starting to get into that whole adventurous, mischievous, curious stage and not to mention loves, Loves, LOVES Curious George....we thought that would make a fun theme. My husband and I love having friends and family over so birthday parties are always nice.

As every birthday party- I pretty much did all the decorations and had amazing help with the food. {Love my fam} I made the Spanish Rice, Sausage with Peppers, Pineapple/Strawberry Sherbert Punch, Caramel Apple Slices, Festive Popcorn, Chocolate Covered Strawberries and 4 tier Chocolate Cake! Nom Nom. My grandma helped with the chicken fajitas, my awesome MIL helped with her signature potato salad and my prego sister helped me with every little monkey's favorite dessert...banana pudding of course! lol

It was hot summer day but surprisingly not as hot as your typical 1st of July days. Our guest first ate, then we opened presents, the pinata was next and finally cake! Eli normally gets more clothes than toys but this year he received mostly big sized toys and summer outfits {Score!} Since Elijah's birthday and Jared's are only 6 days apart...we thought we'd celebrate both birthdays and Jared was dressed as the "Man in the Yellow Hat". All in all, I was super satisfied at the end of the day because I got to spend time with loved ones and Elijah had a fun day! I just love throwing parties.....especially themed kid's birthday parties! :)

Cancun 2010

Here is another video from some of the many pictures we took in Cancun in 2010. We loved every minute there! I think what I really loved the most was that we got to go with our family and they helped us watch the girls while Jared & I hit the famous clubs in Cancun! Awesomeness! :) I also enjoyed not carrying our cellphones nor our watches- we were living in the moment! This was a special vacay because it was Briana Isabella's 1st time on the beach and Denyce's 4th (spoiled). I know our girls enjoyed it especially the ferry boat ride that took us the charming island Cozumel. There we snorkeled as a family in the ocean. It is so humbling knowing we are so itty bitty is the Lord's great landscape. Another memorable moment for the girls was releasing baby turtles into the ocean. Super sweet :) I enjoyed the romantic walks on the beach with my main squeeze at night while the girls slept. And Jared LOVED scuba diving and the endless gourmet buffet served at Grand Mayan hotel.

Playa Del Carmen Mexico 2010

Memories that last a lifetime. This was before our boys came along :) Blessed for this life God has granted us.
